Actually, we swabbed the hull... and sanded... and buffed... and polished.
In order for us to earn our keep for this year's sailing season, our friends invited us over to their beautiful home for a delicious dinner (complete with asparagus from their garden) and a work day in the morning. Their home is one of my favorites. It's so cozy, and there is an antique, collection, or something beautiful to see at every turn. The garden is lovingly kept, and Nora was looking longingly at the blueberry house. Luckily, we didn't have to wait until August. There was coffee cake with last year's berries in the morning, and we were sent home with a jar of blueberry and blackberry jam. Oh, and we had so much fun playing with the cutest little dogs ever, Gracie and Hickory. Ted, you're cute, too.
